Mountain Craftsman Construction is a design-build remodeling contractor working across North Idaho and eastern Washington. We do kitchens, baths, additions and whole-home remodels — and we do them with our own crew rather than assembling a different set of subs for every job.
That matters for a practical reason. On most remodels the design comes from one company and the construction from another, so when a detail turns out to be impractical mid-build, the homeowner is the one relaying messages between them. When the people who drew it are the people building it, that conversation happens on site in ten minutes.
The second thing we do differently is the price. Our proposals are fixed-price and all-in, written before anything is scheduled. Allowances are a common way to make a bid look competitive and then recover the difference later — we would rather spend longer on the estimate and hand you a number that holds.
Every project closes with a walkthrough together and a written five-year workmanship warranty.
